A game-changing modifier for Nanlux‘s flagship monolight, the FL-35E Motorized Fresnel Lens uses the electronic contacts of the NL mount to remotely zoom its beam angle between 15 to 46°, amplifying the raw output of the Evoke 2400B up to more than five times its base output. High-quality glass optics produce a precise beam with even illumination and well-defined edges, while various control options give gaffers and lighting designers flexibility for scene-to-scene changes. The motor unit can also be disengaged for manual adjustment. The Fresnel lens shares the Evoke 2400B’s IP55 weather-resistance rating, making it a natural companion for productions in challenging environments.
Control Options
The FL-35E has a wide range of control options, including the NANLINK app, on the main menu of the Evoke 2400B monolight body, with a DMX console or other wired controller, or with the physical buttons on the lens itself.
Illumination
The Fresnel lens amplifies the Evoke 2400B’s base output up to 75,700 lux at 9.8′ in the narrow 15° position and up to 17,750 lux at the same distance in the lens’ widest 46° position.
Accessories
The FL-35E comes with a non-motorized set of barndoors for further light-shaping ability, and it also comes with a trolley case for convenient storage and transport.
