This cine-style prime lens supports full-frame capture and in a 3:2 full-frame anamorphic de-squeezed image. Use the Remus 1.5x Anamorphic lens series to add a retro cinematic look with enhanced bokeh and silver flares to your footage.
Boasting a bold new gold metal finish, the Remus II 50mm integrates an all-new oval iris design that shapes the bokeh into a rounder oval with a refined flare signature. The T2.4 maximum aperture enables you to capture shallow depth of field looks that help emphasize and separate your subject from the background. Cine-style design features include 0.8 MOD focus and aperture gears for use with pro follow focus systems, a 1/4″-20 lens support thread, an 80mm front outside diameter, a 77mm filter thread, and a barrel with 150° of rotation for precise focus pulls.
The Remus 1.5x series has a constant 1.5x squeeze factor and supports 3:2 full-frame shooting. The lenses cover a 36 x 24mm image circle.
Interchangeable ARRI PL Mount
This lens comes with the ARRI PL mount, enabling you to use it with a variety of cameras, but the PL mount can be switched to a separately available Canon EF mount.
