The SB in the Sachtler DV-8SB stands for SpeedBalance, because it features 12 counterbalance presets, greatly reducing setup time. Similar to larger filmic fluid heads, it has self-illuminated Touch Bubbles for leveling with the 100 mm half-ball base in poor light conditions, and tap holes for mounting cine-style finder supports.
