4-channel forward 3G-SDI fiber optic converter

The 4-Channel 3G-SDI to Optical Fiber Converter is a professional broadcast-grade transmission system designed to transport up to four channels of uncompressed 3G-SDI video over a single optical fiber. It supports high-definition video signals up to 1920 × 1080p at 60Hz, making it suitable for professional cameras, live production, broadcast studios, outside broadcasting and multi-camera systems.

Using single-mode optical fiber, the system provides reliable long-distance SDI transmission while maintaining the original digital video signal quality. Standard configurations support transmission distances of up to 20 km, while specific long-distance versions are available with transmission distances of up to 100 km.

The system provides four 3G-SDI channels and can include SDI loop-through outputs for local monitoring or signal distribution. Depending on the configuration, additional interfaces such as

4-channel Tally and RS485 reverse data are available, allowing integration with professional camera control and broadcast systems.

The converter provides a practical solution for extending multiple professional SDI signals over long distances, combining high-definition 3G-SDI video transmission, optical fiber connectivity and broadcast-oriented control interfaces in a single system.
