The Century / Clairmont Swing/Shift Lens System utilizes bellows, swings, tilts, rises, falls & shifts to provide view camera controls to film cameras. Filmmakers can distort the shape of a subject, remove unwanted object from the frame, or shoot straight into a mirror without catching the camera’s reflection. It’s an extremely robust system that gives the cinematographer greater control and flexibility.
The SwingShift system is a tool that allows the cinematographer to control the perspective and depth of field within a shot.
With the bellows unit you can shift, rise and tilt the lens to the film plane.
Tilt +/- 10 degrees
Swing +/- 10 degrees
